we plan on moving from Santa Ana, Ca. to Henderson, Nv.. we are selling our home in S.A. and need to store our stuff untill we buy in Henderson. a mounth or two. do you store and then deliver t5o new add.

Movex provides door-to-door service on moving trucks. Unfortunately, storage does not work in our system.

If you need storage, it is better to put your goods in a climate controlled facility than to leave it on a truck for an extended period of time. Leaving your goods for a month on a moving truck would subject them to a lot of heat and could cause them to be damaged.

Can we load our stuff on a truck,but not have it delivered for 2 weeks? We are wanting to visit family in Spokane, Wa before we move to the east coast. Please let me know your policy on this. Also we should know are exact move date by next week, and then we can make more concrete reservations with your company. Thanks, Heather

We can work with you some on your delivery. But, we do not provide storage services on the moving trucks. You don't want your entire life riding around in a truck for an extended two week period, nor do you want the moving van sitting in a parking lot somewhere unattended. We suggest shipping it to your destination and hiring a local mover to come out and unload it. You will have a much better move that way.

once our belonings arrive in TX we might need some extra days before we can unload them into the new house. will this cost us extra and if so how much?

The best thing to do is call our office and speak to a relocation specialist about your delivery needs. While we do not provide storage, we can work with you on "when" you would like to receive your goods.

This kind of short term storage can be a challenge. It would probably be best to speak to a relocation specialist about this request at 800-876-6839. We will need to figure out how much space you will need on the moving truck to determine how much we can extend your delivery.

Can a pod be used for storage - say for a month or two between moves between times when must move out and available time for move in?

We can deliver you to a storage facility or we can hold your shipment for up to 10 days. Unfortunately, we don't have monthly storage available since we deliver direct to residence.

I need my furniture loaded on the 15th of Feb. but will not need delivery until the 1St of March Do you have storage?

We do not have storage available in the traditional sense. We do have some options to work with on when you shipment will be delivered. Please call and ask about our Exact Express service where you can extend your delivery date.

If the truck arrives at my destination before my new house is availble will you store the trailer and if so for how long.

With some of our truck rental services, we can store your goods for up to 2 weeks. The charge for this is generally about $40 per day. Make sure that you order this in advance. If the truck arrives at the designated time and you cannot take delivery, you will need to make alternative arrangements to deliver to a local mini storage because the truck will already be scheduled to pick up another customer.

I'm moving from a townhouse in VA to a house outside of Nashville and have probably 1-2 rooms worth of furniture. I want to pick up furniture at two different residences in VA, within 20 minutes of each other. Then I want to move everything to the TN location. I want to store some of the items for a month or 2 but unload at least half of the items. Is the multiple stop possible, and is storage possible?

These are great questions and I am sure that the answers will be applicable to many of our customers. Because Movex drivers wait while you load and unload, we also can make extra pickups and deliveries. The charge for this is $95 per stop. No other truck rental company or self service moving company can offer this convenience! While we can provide up to 14 days of storage, I would suggest getting a self-storage unit in Tennessee. We are planning on moving to florida, i'm not sure exactly where were going to live, and we want to take our time finding a new home. do you store household goods? If so how much per month? If you would you be storing our items, in Florida or Colorado?

If you are going to store your goods long term, you definitely want to put them in a mini-storage here in Florida. Your rates will be lower and you don't have to worry about the cold (unless you are putting them in climate-controlled storage in Colorado, again, expensive). Having a moving company store your goods for an extended period of time is very expensive.

We are planning a move to southwest fl. How long can you store our furnature, what are the charges, are you climate controlles at your storage facility?

We provide just the transportation piece of your move. If you need long term storage, we would suggest moving to a mini-storage. I don't know about Ohio, but here in Florida there is a mini-storage every 200 yards. The rates are low and you can get climate controlled storage if you like. If you only need the shipment held for a couple of days, check with one of our representatives on Tuesday, we might be able to accommodate your request.
